1. About the Course
The Ladder Model is an educational course about trading risk management, position sizing frameworks, and compounding strategies. It is delivered digitally via the Whop platform and includes written materials, video content (where applicable), and access to a Discord community.
The course is created and operated by an individual content creator trading under the name "Tony" (The Ladder Model). The creator is not a registered financial adviser, broker, or investment professional in any jurisdiction.
2. Eligibility
By purchasing this course, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Are legally permitted to purchase and use educational trading content in your jurisdiction
- Understand that trading financial instruments involves substantial risk of financial loss
- Are purchasing for personal educational use only
3. Licence and Permitted Use
Upon purchase, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the course materials for your own educational purposes.
You are strictly prohibited from:
- Sharing, redistributing, reselling, or uploading any course materials — in whole or in part — to any platform, website, or third party
- Reproducing or copying the course content for commercial use
- Creating derivative works based on the course materials for sale or distribution
- Sharing login credentials or access links with others
Copyright notice: All course content — including scripts, simulations, frameworks, visuals, and characters (Mary, Joe, Tony) — is the intellectual property of The Ladder Model. Unauthorised sharing or reproduction may result in legal action and permanent account termination without refund. You are encouraged to share the concept and recommend the course to others; sharing the materials themselves is not permitted.
4. Refund Policy
Due to the digital and immediately accessible nature of this course, all sales are final. No refunds are offered once access to course materials has been granted.
Exception: if you experience a technical failure that prevents access to the course materials and we are unable to resolve it within 7 days of a support request, a full refund will be issued.
Refund requests must be submitted through the Whop platform or via Discord within 48 hours of purchase.
5. Disclaimer of Results
The Ladder Model does not guarantee any specific financial outcome. All simulation results, historical account data, and illustrative examples in the course are provided for educational purposes only and do not represent a promise or projection of future performance.
Trading results vary significantly between individuals based on strategy quality, market conditions, discipline, execution, and other factors outside our control. The course creator's personal results are their own and are not typical.
6. Discord Community Rules
Access to the Discord community is included with course purchase and is subject to the following rules:
- No harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour toward other members
- No sharing of trading signals, tips, or advice presented as financial guidance
- No promotion of competing products, services, or courses
- No spamming, scamming, or unsolicited direct messages
- No sharing of course materials within or outside the server
Violation of community rules may result in removal from the Discord server. Removal from Discord does not entitle you to a refund of your course purchase.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Ladder Model and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the course materials
- Any trading decisions made based on course content
- Financial losses of any kind incurred while attempting to apply course concepts
- Technical interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the platform
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the course is to discontinue use of it.
8. Changes to the Course
We reserve the right to update, revise, or add to course materials at any time. We also reserve the right to change the platform through which the course is delivered, with reasonable notice where possible. Fundamental changes that substantially reduce the value of the course will be communicated via the Discord community.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance, and thereafter through appropriate legal channels in the jurisdiction of the content creator.
